Case Barlow Farm was founded in 1814 by Chauncey & Cleopatra Case. The Case family ran the farm for about 90 years until Franklin and Hatie (Case) Barlow took control. The Barlow Family ran the farm for the next 90 years until Donald & Helen Barlow gifted the farm to the First Congregational Church in Hudson. In 1996 the nonprofit Case Barlow Bicentennial Farm Inc, purchased the farm from the church with a mission to preserve the property and buildings and engage the community to appreciate the history of farming in Hudson. Over the past 25 plus years with the help of the Questers, a national organization focused on keeping history alive by supporting preservation, restoration and education, we have furnished the house and displayed hundreds of artifacts with historical relevance. You can search items here and visit the house and see where these items are displayed and utilized.
